Played through the game and loved the aesthetic. It was spot on with the old school DOS games from my childhood. The birds got a bit annoying, but the little end boss was worth it.
Great game! Solid all the way through. I really love the old doom/wolfinstine style gameplay and art style. Played this a double feature and fleshbirds starts at 12:00.
i had a lot of fun playing the game :D i wish it was a little longer. the last portion of the game like it took a 180 turn on the whole situation lol it was good, it was completely unexpected. keep up the great work friends :D i made a small playthrough
So I discovered the birds aren't thaaaat fast, but they're kinda intelligent since they were all together just above the door and just exploded me when I left one of the cabins hahaha.
But anyway, awesome game man, had some fun playing, also while I was recording I found a bug on the boss that you may want to check out.

Yeah you discovered the secret ;) Also on the boss, it wasnt a bug, you killed the bird right before it was gonna kill you, it just doesnt die immediately, it has a death state for about 15 seconds, thats why it wasnt moving.
Being able to shoot while dead is a bug but im leaving it in cause its hiilarious. Thanks for playing!
I let my rage cloud my judgement and gave up way too early. I plan on doing another video with a clear head and actually beating it! This is really well made on all fronts, I just sucked really bad! Here's my playthrough:

I was really enjoying that! Shame you didn't make it too far, just remember that Berries heal the player & I also recommend you plan where you need to move to and walk backwards while attacking.
OHHHH!!! The berries! I read that in the note, that he had them for breakfast, but then didn't see them in game. :( sad for me. That would have been key! Now I know :D
Will you be expanding on this? I really hope so, it feels really good! Love the art style.
I have alot of ideas that didn't make it into the game cause of time restrictions so I may make something similar in the future. Right now though, I have a ton of new ideas for other games that I want to make first.

The blueberry bushes heal your health, you also move slightly faster when strafing. You do get a checkpoint when you enter a cabin too.

Amazing game, awesome graphics, some unique jumpscares, and I loved the boss fight at the end. Overall it's a great game and entry.
Extract the zip file with 7zip/winrar. Then launch the exe file. It should be good to go.
